A new project for using alternative energy sources has recently been launched in "Bog kucha" mahalla of Uchkurgan district in support of the EU/UNDP "Enhancement of living standards in Fergana Valley” Programme. In the special boarding school No.46 repair of showers was carried out that were as old as the school itself; built back in 1958 and nowadays under the influence of time, moisture and water badly decayed.
