The EC/UNDP project "Enhancement of Living Standards in Namangan Region" (ELS) under funding from the European Committee and implementation of UNDP is planning to establish Bio-laboratory to encourage environment-friendly method of the control of pests.
For this purpose, under the frame of "Income Generation" component, the ELS project intends to purchase and install the line on Breeding of Grain Moth in Chartak and Mingbuloq districts of Namangan Region, Uzbekistan.
EC/UNDP "ELS" announcing bidding for this equipment and all interested parties should provide Expression of Interest (EOI) for supply and further installation of the line on Breeding of Grain Moth for above mentioned project. Consequently EC/UNDP project "ELS" intends to purchase the following equipment:
  • The line on Breeding of Grain Moth with overall dimensions– 690x1130x900
  • Voltage – three-phase - 220/380+, -10%
  • Productivity – minimum 28-30kg
EC/UNDP project invites qualified potential supplies to express their interest in supplying and further installation of the above line. The expression of interest should be received by EC/UNDP project no later than Thursday 27th, April 2006. The deadline for invited suppliers to submit bids would be advised later.
Interested potential suppliers should provide:
  • A profile of the company.
  • Details of major clients and relevant supply experience.
  • List of countries where you have international office/representative.
  • Quality assurance certificates and reference held by the company.
  • The expression of interest should specify the product(s) of interest.
It should be noted that EC/UNDP project is not obliged to invite any particular potential supplier who has expressed his interest, to participate in the subsequent bidding process.
Invitation to Bids and any subsequent orders will be issued in accordance with the rules and procedures of UNDP.
