To increase the benefits from microfinance for microfinance clients the ELS project has organized a special programme for the borrowers and the 50 needy poor families who received livestock as in kind support from the project.The training course is especially designed to walk the borrowers through the intricacies of organizing, managing and developing a private business. During the training participants learn how to turn ideas into real business, manage their own business, marketing and accounting, and taxation and are encouraged to develop a business plan to access credit.

The 1088 participants were full of ideas and provided a lively feedback during the sessions already conducted by the project. They liked working in works and interacting with the trainers and among themselves. One of the participants said: ‘We have learned how to start our own business, calculate profit and loss, and repay credits on time. We would like to thank the trainers and hope that there will be more of such training in future’.

Now micro prospective borrowers who turn to “Nurafshon” Credit Union, the ELS partner in microcredit can combine their skills and knowledge with the financial support from the EU for a better future.
